More technique videos on the way!

I spent yesterday at the gym filming more technique videos for the Tactical Nutrition website ( www.tacticalnutrition.net ), and although the videos are being edited and aren’t ready quite yet I did get a few photos and thought I’d use them to tell you about the instructors who helped us out this time:

Emyr “Shark” Bussade has been my primary instructor in Brazilian Jitsu and is a decorated grappler, MMA fighter and coach.  Some of his accomplishments include:

Emyr 'Shark' Bussade Emyr ‘Shark’ Bussade

1998 Brazillian Meeting Champion CBJJ
1999 Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Champion CBJJ
1999 Silver Medal Winner Pan-American Championship
2000 Brazillian Meeting Champion CBJJ
2000 Silver Medal World Jiu Jitsu Championship
2000 State Champion (Rio De Janeiro)
2001 3rd Place ADCC World Submission Championship
2001 World Jiu Jitsu Champion
2001 Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Champion CBJJ
2002 NAGA Over All Points Champion
Pro MMA Fighter

He was assisted by Randy “Venezuela” Barroso who I will always remember as he taught me how to roll and fall my first day of BJJ class.  Randy is a talented grappler and great guy, for a bit more take a look at his highlight video:

For this video shoot we listened to much of the feedback we received after the first videos and tried to show moves along with their counters as a series.  We should have the video posted soon.  Here are a couple pics from yesterday:

I am also working to be able to produce weekly technique videos in a bit more informal setting, hopefully one for Judo and another for BJJ.  I’ll keep you posted as we get all the pieces in place.  Remember, you can see our previous technique videos on Youtube our website ( www.tacticalnutrition.net ).
